A survey recently released by the Pew Research Center (January 2015) reveals gaping differences in opinion between scientists and the general public on multiple science and social issues.

The same questionnaire was submitted to 2,002 adults living in the United States and to 3,748 U.S.-based members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
